    PROGRAM DIRECTOR & MAKER EDUCATOR

    Since joining Nova Labs in 2021, Amanda has shown her passion for community-centered design and innovation. With a Master's in Design for Emergent Futures and experience managing maker programs at George Mason University's MIX Makerspace, she encourages Critical Making, fostering a space where critical thinking and hands-on experimentation empower creative growth.

    MAKER EDUCATOR - TEENS

    Marie is a sculptor and educator with a BFA in Sculpture from George Mason University. She specializes in welding and metalworking and enjoys exploring how different materials can connect and transform through the making process. As a mother of three, she values creativity, patience, and curiosity both in and outside the shop.

    Sora Stasulis

    MAKER EDUCATOR - K-6 Grades

    Sora is an educator and technology enthusiast with a Master’s in Early Childhood Education from George Mason University. Her work combines a love for teaching with hands-on tech, using 3D printers, computers, and crafts to spark creativity and critical thinking in her students. Outside work, Sora enjoys 3D printing, archery, fishing, and hiking, and looks forward to building her own cabin to deepen her connection to nature and craftsmanship.

  • Kevin Jones

    MAKER EDUCATOR - 4-6 Grades & Teens

    Kevin was born in Washington, D.C. and was raised in that metropolitan area. A fan of comic books and animation from a young age, he started drawing and creating early in life. He attended Virginia Commonwealth University, where he studied illustration. After some time working outside the field and creating in his free time, Kevin returned to school; first, NVCC for graphic design and, finally, attending George Mason University for fine art.

    MAKER EDUCATOR - 4-6 Grades

    Aadil is a full-time STEM teacher and creative technologist who blends art, engineering, and design into engaging, hands-on experiences. He’s passionate about helping young makers discover the joy of building and experimenting.

  • Noah Miller

    MAKER EDUCATOR - 1-3 Grades

    Noah Miller graduated from George Mason University in 2022 with a certificate in Early Childhood Education and a minor in Sports Management. He currently works as Senior Community Integration Staff for Mason LIFE, supporting students with disabilities in both classroom and workplace settings.
